Crazy Vancouver Weirdos

What is with all of us who live in the Greater vancouver area? For a 15 minute fireworks display, we are willing to risk life, limb, and sanity?

We went to the fireworks last night. It took us an hour to find parking about 15 blocks from the beach (not the main beach where it was happening, another, supposed ly quieter area), our car was rear-ended, we had to listen to drunken idiots yelling random profanities to no-one in particular, Matito thought it was 'so cool'for about 3 minutes and then wanted to go home, etc, etc...

You get the picture: all in all, a pleasant way to spend a Saturday evening.

Never again.
