Funny Matito Moments

INICIDENT # ONE

scene: Mommy and Matito are in the car (mom in front, boy in carseat centre of back seat) Matito is eating a 'cinnamon straw' (straw shaped pastry)

Matito: Mommy! Mommy!

Mommy (lookin at child through rear-view mirror): yes dear?

Matito (holding pastry to his mouth): Look! I am a mosquito!

(sound of Mommy gurgling as she tries to act calm not to DIE LAUGHING)

Mommy: That's nice...

(Three year old Matito beams with pride!)

INCIDENT # TWO

( Mommy and Matito singing together)

Done by the bay,
Where the watermelon grow
Back to my home, I dare not go..
For if I do
My mother will say

(Mommy's turn) Did you ever see a whale with a polka dot tail

Down by the bay!

Matito: Mommy! Mommy! I have one!
Mommy: okay, your turn!

Matito: Did you ever see WHITE BLOOD CELLS EATING BACTERIA ?????????????

Mommy: (after staring at Matito in stunned silence for what must have been an entire minute) that's great Matito. We should get going now.
